myMTree — research that stops at your decision

myMTree finds candidates, scores them against rules you can read, lets bots practise on paper, and stages trades for you to approve. Nothing reaches a live brokerage account unless a person says yes.

Three problems it's built around

“It's too technical.”

Every score shows its reasoning, so each decision teaches something.

“I don't have time to watch the market.”

Bots scan, score and stage trades while you work, on paper.

“I'm afraid of losing capital.”

Every account starts on a simulated ledger. Live routing is earned, and each order is approved.

What's inside

How It Works

Six steps from signal to decision — and the last one is yours.

Research Desk

Feeds, a technical conviction score, persona lenses, strategy backtests and a macro regime read.

Human Gate

Approvals desk, execution policy tiers, position and concentration limits, tax-aware sell checks.

Bots

Persona bots trading their own paper books, ranked on measured results; an AI Model Arena on paper.

Options

Cash-secured puts and covered calls, defined-risk spreads, and a same-day options guard.

Statements

Broker statements read automatically, a month-by-month calendar, and returns that exclude deposits.

Platform

Isolated workspaces, role-based consoles, an audit desk and read-only API keys.

Principles

What myMTree will not do.

How It Works — Six Steps, and the Last One Is Yours

Feeds → Candidate basket → Conviction score → Persona lens → Staging gates → Your approval

STEP 01

1. Feeds

Sector and universe scans, index momentum, market movers, analyst consensus, SEC insider filings, congressional trade disclosures and social sentiment. Each feed carries a trust rating: exchange price data is high, filings are high-provenance but slow, social sentiment is low.

STEP 02

2. Candidate basket

Market movers enter as unconfirmed. A mover is an observation, not a recommendation, until another lane confirms it.

STEP 03

3. Conviction score

A technical score built from momentum, trend stage and volatility. It's deliberately technical; valuation ratios appear on cards for context and never enter the score.

STEP 04

4. Persona lens

Each investing persona weights those factors differently. Re-scoring is read-only.

STEP 05

5. Staging gates

A candidate becomes a ticket only above the conviction tier, with the opposing desk's view attached, inside position limits and account headroom.

STEP 06

6. Your approval

The Approvals desk is the human gate. Paper approvals go to a sandbox; live approvals route a real order only from a seat connected to a brokerage.

After every exit, the desk asks whether selling protected capital or cost opportunity, at 7, 15, 30, 60 and 90 days. That review becomes the system's own scorecard.

Research Desk — Scores You Can Read, and Gaps It Admits

Symbol Finder

Runs the feeds and the scoring pipeline across a symbol universe and ranks what clears it. Every row shows which feed it came from and how much that feed is trusted.

The conviction score

Three factors a person can follow: momentum (MACD and moving-average trend), trend stage and oversold condition, and stability (inverted volatility). The page says openly that the “value” factor is a chart reading, not a valuation.

Strategy backtests

Nine strategies are tested per symbol over roughly two years of daily bars. The best fit is stored with its win rate, total return and trade count, and re-proven weekly. The trade count is always shown, so “100% over 2 trades” can be discounted by the reader.

Macro regime

A market-regime multiplier from Federal Reserve net liquidity against credit spreads. If the regime read is unavailable, it says so and does not quietly shrink anything.

Instrument awareness

Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and crypto are classified before any desk offers an action. Mutual funds price once a day and cannot carry options, so options desks never offer them.

Missing data stays missing

When a figure cannot be computed honestly, the desk shows — with a reason instead of a plausible average.

Human Gate — Bots Stage. People Approve.

The rule: nothing auto-fires into a live account. Every order that reaches a brokerage has a person's approval behind it.

One execution policy for every entry path

Bot cycles, staged tickets and automation all pass the same decision, in the same order: • Exits are never blocked by a size limit. Getting out of risk is always allowed. • Opposing or unmeasured risk is refused. • Concentration across all bots: no more than 15% of the book in one underlying. Above it, refused. • Single position: above 5% of account value, the trade is staged for review instead of filled. • Stale account data: if account value cannot be read fresh, the trade is staged, not filled. • Autopilot tiers: defined-risk structures on paper may fill automatically; undefined-risk strategies (cash-secured puts, the wheel, naked options) and all live equity orders always require a person.

Gates on the ticket

• Long-term capital gains shield. A sell within 60 days of a position turning long-term is held; overriding it records the tax it costs. • Cross-desk verdict. The opposing desk's view rides on every ticket. • Options approval. Options tickets come only from accounts approved for options. • Headroom. Available cash less collateral already committed, less a 20% cushion. • Regime check. A bullish put spread against unanimously weak tape is refused.

Risk alerts. Open alerts collect on one desk until acknowledged.

Bots — Let Them Practise Where Mistakes Are Free

Persona bots

Bots with distinct investing personas trade their own paper sandboxes around the clock. They scan, score and stage against rules you can read.

A leaderboard built on measured results

Bots are ranked on measured expectancy from closed round trips. A bot with fewer than five closed round trips shows no score: it is still growing.

Graduation, not assumption

A bot earns trust through a track record on paper before anyone considers it for more.

AI Model Arena

Several large language models each manage a paper book from the same brief, alongside a consensus book, so their decisions can be compared side by side. Paper only.

Reflections

After each exit, the desk reviews the decision at 7, 15, 30, 60 and 90 days: did selling protect capital, or cost opportunity?

Options — Income Strategies With the Risk Written on the Ticket

The wheel

Cash-secured puts and covered calls tracked as a cycle per symbol, with collateral reserved against account headroom and a cushion held back.

Defined-risk spreads

Credit and debit spreads with a regime check before entry, so a bullish structure is not opened into unanimously weak tape.

Same-day options guard

Same-day expiry spreads carry a stop monitor and an end-of-day sweep. A closing order is priced from the live spread, and a position is only marked closed when the broker confirms the fill. On paper, anything still open at the bell is settled at intrinsic value. Live automatic closing is off unless the account owner switches it on.

Instrument checks

Options are only offered on instruments that can carry them.

Options involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every investor.

Statements — Your Broker Statements, Read and Reconciled

Upload what the broker gives you

Drop the .zip files E*TRADE provides, a whole year per archive. They are queued on the server and read one statement at a time, with live progress. You can leave the page while it works.

Years of history, both layouts

Statements from before and after the E*TRADE / Morgan Stanley migration are read, including the change of account numbers, and the migration month is combined so it never shows up as money moving in or out.

A month-by-month calendar

For every account and month it shows how that month is covered: a statement that was read, a statement covering several quiet months, a gap proven quiet by the statements either side, or a missing statement, flagged.

Performance by year, without your deposits

Start value, net deposits, market gain, end value and a time-weighted return for each year and account. Deposits are separated using the figures the statements themselves print, so funding an account never looks like investment gains. A trend chart plots account value against money put in.

Every trade, reconciled

Every fill is filed. Securities named in words are matched to tickers, and anything ambiguous is listed for a person to confirm rather than guessed.

Nothing lost, nothing doubled

Re-uploading a month replaces it. A statement that cannot be filed is kept for review.

Illustrations use generic sample data only — never a real account.

Platform — Built Like the Systems We Deliver to Clients

Isolated workspaces

Each customer's data lives in its own workspace, separated at the database level, and one workspace can never read another's.

Consoles by role

Views for an allocator managing a fund, a desk operator, an account holder and an auditor, each with only what that role needs.

Audit desk

Decisions, approvals and fills are recorded so they can be reviewed later.

Read-only API keys

An outside system can read account values through a key that can only read: it cannot trade, move money or change settings.

Brokerage connectivity

Live E*TRADE connectivity on the brokerage owner's seat, with further broker connectors in the platform. Paper accounts need no brokerage at all.

Release discipline

Every release passes a type check, the full automated test suite and a production build before it goes live, runs database migrations, and rolls back automatically if any step fails.

Stack: Python (FastAPI) services, a Next.js web application, PostgreSQL.

Principles — The Refusals Are the Product

• It will not place an order you did not approve. A system that trades without your say-so is a liability sold as a feature. • It will not fill a gap with a comfortable number. Missing data shows — and says why. • It will not hide costs. Commissions and fees are modelled before a trade, not after. • It will not count a deposit as a gain. Returns exclude the money you put in. • It will not start you on real money. Every account begins on paper, with no credit card. • It will not promise returns. Projections are for ranking and sizing conversations, and the desk says so on screen.

myMTree is a research and education platform. Nothing here is investment advice, and no past or projected performance is shown or implied. Options and futures involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every investor. New accounts are simulated.
